The challenge is important because this vintage wine will succeed to the exceptional 2002, which was a big success. It reconciled a lot of Dom Pérignon amateurs disappointed by the weakness of the 2000 vintage.

2003 was a year of the records. Frost in the spring, intense drought in summer, the maturity of the grape… All the more in the North of France, more used to the difficulties of maturation than acceleration!

Now, the questions started… Will Dom Pérignon have known how to keep some freshness and thus, avoid the possible heaviness of this vintage wine so unique? Will it have Spring? Will it have Some of the lively elegance and not, this sometimes disgusting browned butter flavour?
